CCP.CEE – Central Counterparty for Central & Eastern Europe

Based on a strong market demand CCP.A has developed the CCP.CEE solution to offer standardized clearing services for the CEE markets in order to achieve

• simplified post-trading infrastructure
• easier market access and
• reduced post trading costs & risks.

To implement the CCP.CEE solution a project has been initialized to

• develop CCP.A into a central provider of clearing services in CEE for international, regional and local clients
• introduce one international best practice clearing and risk management process that can be operated on one central IT-platform
• implement the CCP.CEE services starting with the cash market trades concluded at WBAG and PSE followed by the cash market trades of further markets.

A close co-operation with the CEESEG-Group will ensure an optimized end-to-end trading and post-trading solution across all CEESEG markets.
