Next expansion of the Vienna Stock Exchange's "global market" segment

At the end of September, just before the beginning of the 4th quarter of 2018, the Vienna Stock Exchange started a new increase in its trading offer of international securities. In total, 33 new securities from China, India, South Korea, Taiwan and Japan will be added to the "global market" segment.

Stock exchange CEO Christoph Boschan is pleased about the recent expansion: "We have expanded our world menu again and offer now specialties from the Far East to domestic investors."

The newly listed securities include selected stocks of global companies such as Samsung Electronics, Sony or the trading platform Alibaba Group. As a result, the "global market" segment with its launch in last year’s summer now amounts to a whopping 571 securities from 24 countries.
